Haryana Regional Chapter (HRC) is one among the 20 regional chapters of the Institute of Town Planners, India (ITPI). The Institute of Town Planners, India was established in 1951 with the objective of advancing the study of town planning and promoting planned, economic and scientific development of human settlements in India.
The Haryana Regional Chapter was established in 2003 to serve the professional needs of town planners in the state of Haryana and to contribute to the planned development of urban and rural areas in the region.
Since its inception, the Chapter has been actively engaged in organizing seminars, workshops, training programmes and other professional activities for its members and stakeholders in the field of urban and regional planning.
The Chapter building at Sector 2, Panchkula houses modern facilities including an auditorium, library, guest house and office spaces that support the professional and academic activities of the Chapter.
